Joint Services Warrant Officers Course (JSWOC)
The Joint Services Warrant Officers’ Course (JSWOC) was introduced as one of the recommendations from the Defence Training Review in order to give Warrant Officers of the three Services an appreciation of wider Defence issues.

Course Aim
The aim of the course, which has been running in its current form since 2005, is to develop an awareness of Joint, Multinational and Multi-Agency operations, including the application of military decision making, in order to improve Defence capability. As such, the course covers a wide expanse of Defence-related issues during its two weeks’ duration in order to meet its end state of better educated and energised warrant officers, more aware of, and better able to contribute to the challenges facing the UK’s Defence sector.
Accreditation/Assessment
EDEXEL BTEC Level 7 Award in Advanced Professional Management Studies, with option to continue to Certificate and Diploma.
