JSCSC Courses
Higher Command and Staff Course
An annual, 16 week course for 36 one star and OF5 (Colonel or service equivalent) level officers from all three Services, overseas military partners and some UK Government departments.
Advanced Command and Staff Course
An annual, 46 week course for 330 officers at OF4/3 level (Major to Lieutenant Colonel and Service equivalents) from the three UK armed forces, UK Government departments and 90 International officers. This includes the Pre-Course Training and English Language Training modules for International and UK Non-Military Students.
Single Service Division’s Courses
Each service has a Division within JSCSC which runs specific courses. These consist of a range of shorter and longer courses that are aimed at staff training for officers.

Other Courses and Exercises
These include courses for Reserve officers and for those about to attend staff training International and exercises for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. Royal Naval Reserve Courses

Annually the JSCSC hosts a number of foreign and Commonwealth officers on courses.
