Defence Learning Environment (DLE)
The Defence Technology Enhanced Learning (DTEL) Team provides a single point of access for all Defence TEL matters including the Defence Learning Environment (DLE).
The DLE is an internet-based platform funded to provide a virtual learning environment for use across Defence. The DLE hosts resources and activities within a course structure, reports on participation and provides for assessment. The DLE is accessed via the Defence Gateway and all MOD Service and Civilian staff are eligible to apply for an account.
The E-Learning Standards Profile details the requirements to be adopted by the MOD and MOD contractors when designing training which will be hosted on the DLE.
The DLE Style Guide sets out design requirements and guidelines for online and e-Learning hosted on the DLE. It is to be used by all those producing learning and professionally designed content for the DLE.
