The aim of the party was to thank the many organisations and individuals who have supported the Defence Academy over the preceding year. 

The Band of the Light Cavalry performed for the guests including Beating the Retreat and Sunset Ceremony.  The Director General of the Defence Academy Lt Gen Andrew Graham CBE addressed the assembled guests and also took the salute at the Sunset Ceremony.  At the end of the evening, a photograph was taken of the International Sponsors.
