Facilitated by Lt Gen Andrew Graham CBE, the Director of the Defence Academy, it was an opportunity to help enable an Away Day for key figures within the Defence and Security community as well as show what the Defence Academy does and the resources available here at Shrivenham.  The event also provided an opportunity for the Away Day delegates to disconnect from the demands in London and enable discussions on current and future strategic issues facing defence and security.

The event was a huge success, with the staff at Beckett House providing a first class facility and service.  It is hoped that the Defence Academy as a location and stimulus for debate continues to be used across Defence and other 3rd party organisations.
