HIVE GB is an organisation which provides information for the Service Community (HIVE GB have this website which offers information on other HIVEs in the UK and overseas.)

Shrivenham's HIVE is uniquely placed to help the broad community of families and individuals based at the Station. We currently have people from over 50 countries based at Shrivenham: undergraduate students; permanent staff at the Defence Academy, RMCS, JSCSC, the Joint Doctrine and Concepts Centre, Joint Equality and Diversity Training Centre, the Defence Advisory Team and many others attending the wide range of courses offered at the various colleges and training centres here.

What?

We provide local information, information for new arrivals and those being posted. We also act as a point of referral for any housing, education and welfare issues. And finally, we act as a facilitator for community activities.

Where?

The HIVE Centre is located in The Jubilee Centre on Faringdon Rd – at the heart of community activities at Shrivenham
