The Defence Strategic Commercial Course (DSCC) provides an intellectual environment in which to inform and encourage debate amongst senior managers on the challenges which they face at the strategic level.
Course Aim
The aim of this course is to provide an overview of commercial best practice and how this could be applied in the defence environment. This is followed by a series of 3 electives designed to meet individual developmental objectives.

Course Objectives
By the end of the Programme delegates will be able to:
- Understand innovative approaches to procurement, contracting and the management of suppliers.
- To develop perspectives of commercial best practice through case studies of leading commercial organisations.
- To consider fundamental financial aspects that impact upon commercial activities and recognise challenges of innovative solutions within the defence environment.
