Course Objectives

Understand the principles of resource management in the MOD including financial planning, budgeting, in year management and the Control Framework;

Understand the basics of Resource Accounting & Budgeting (RAB) and resource management in a RAB environment;

Understand the financial policy framework including delegation, scrutiny, governance and value for money;
- Understand Risk Management and Investment Appraisal.
