Introduction to Defence Acquisition - IDA - 12 - 13 Mar 2012

This course provides an overview of the MOD's equipment life cycle and its attendant acquisition and support processes. It will provide delegates with sources of further information and the knowledge that they will require to benefit from other courses.

Suitable For

All personnel new to Acquisition. It would also benefit those who need to refresh and update their knowledge, and other MOD personnel who require an outline awareness of the acquisition process. Others (including those from Industry and overseas) who would find the course useful may also be eligible.

The aim of the course is to provide a basic understanding of the defence acquisition process.

Course Objectives

By the end of the course delegates will be able to:
