Course Objectives

By the end of the course learners will have acquired Practitioner level knowledge in:

  • In-Service Support Information Management
  • In-Service Support Change Management

Course Components

The course consists of the following components:

A pre-test: The pre-test consists of a number of multiple-choice questions designed to assess your existing knowledge. Although we encourage you to attempt all questions by selecting the most likely option, based on your existing knowledge and experience, we do not recommend that you guess answers. You should select the ‘Don’t Know’ option if this is most relevant. On its completion, you will be able to identify which of the topics you have to study.

E-learning in In-Service Support Information & Change Management (6 topics): Dependant upon the outcome of your pre-test, you may not have to study all topics. If you demonstrate a suitable level of mastery of a topic, then that topic will be marked as complete. You will have access to the topic, but you will not be required to study it. Each topic takes approximately 20 minutes to complete.

A post-test: The post-test is to enable you to assess the extent to which your understanding of the subject matter has improved now that you have worked through it.

Accreditation/Assessment

Assessment: This Course is assessed on-line, through an end of module test (post-test). The test is multiple-choice and comprises a selection of questions covering all objectives within the module. A question comprises a single correct answer and two wrong answers (distracters) and you have only one attempt to answer each question. Successful completion is dependent on achieving or exceeding the pass mark for each of the topics in the module. If you do not pass the test, you will be required to retake it. This is likely to involve going through one or more topics again prior to retaking the test. Summary of Learning: On completion of the test (whether or not you pass) you will be given access to a Summary of Learning, which provides a complete breakdown of your performance in the module. This will identify the topics that you need to retake and any that you are recommended to revise. You are strongly encouraged to share this Summary of Learning with your Line Manager/Mentor.
