Course Objectives
At the end of the workshop participants will be able to:

Describe the responsibilities of a manager in relation to the PADR process including: agreeing SMART objectives; working within and assessing against the Single Skills Framework & Super Seven Behaviours;

Describe the knowledge, skills and attributes necessary to promote and encourage good working relationships, diversity and conflict resolution;

Define the outline procedures to be followed relating to instances of poor performance, discipline issues and managing attendance;

Explain the techniques of giving constructive feedback to develop people and how recognising and rewarding contribution can benefit the business;

Explain the RDP process and the responsibilities and skills required in supporting a member of staff in the RDP.

Detail the communication skills necessary to conduct constructive discussions with staff.
