Junior Ranks (Armed Services) and E Grade civil servants who have been nominated to be an assistant EDA.
Course Aim
To prepare Junior Non-Commissioned Officers in the Royal Navy, Army, Royal Air Force and MOD Civil Service equivalents, to perform duties as the Assistant Equality and Diversity Adviser.

Course Objectives
- Provide a point of contact for junior personnel within your area of responsibility
- Provide advice at the lowest level on Equality and Diversity issues in accordance with the MOD's policy
- Describe how personal attitudes, beliefs and stereotyping impact on individual and team performance
- Define the business case for promoting the Equality and Diversity policies of the MOD
- Explain the need to create and promote an inclusive working environment
- Define Harassment and Bullying and give advice on the options available to the individual
- Explain the importance of personally intervening to stop Bullying and Harassment where encountered and how best to do this
