Dr Charles Kirke - Cranfield University carried out a study funded by the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom into the organisational culture of the four Services (Royal Navy, Army, Royal Air Force, and Civil Service), and in particular how these cultures affect synergy in the conduct of MOD business. The base discipline was Social Anthropology.
