Acquisition Upskilling

Do you want to find out more about what Upskilling means to you? Then come along to one of our presentations taking place at various locations in September, October and November.

DACP UpskillingThe aim of the Defence Acquisition Change Programme Upskilling is to improve the Department's ability to acquire military and civilian capability by Upskilling staff across the acquisition community.  It will result in increased levels of professionalism across acquisition, improved efficiency, coherence and flexibility of training delivery.

The DACP Upskilling Programme is centred on the development of new blended learning, comprising e-learning and classroom courses, focused primarily on training for civilian and military staff across the acquisition community at the awareness/practitioner level and for staff in key acquisition roles.

DACP Upskilling Programme Components

Paul Hamilton, Director Future Business, Defence College of Management & Technology is leading the DACP Upskilling Team, working in partnership with LogicaCMG and Cranfield University, to develop these new courses.

These new courses, particularly those provided as e-learning, will be available for use from October 2007.
