Although running as a series, each masterclass is a stand-alone event that will focus on a specific digital theme and include key influencers in the digital space as guest speakers. The four themes be: Strategic Leadership in Digital; Behavioural and Cultural Aspects of Digital Transformation; Ethics and Risk in the Digital space; and Enabling Digital Technologies all of which are delivered once a year
The target audience is senior leaders, of 1* and above, across Defence, who are not necessarily Information experts, but who will benefit from and have a key role in bringing about digital transformation. Awareness topics will include: thinking and planning differently, delivering early and iterating, collaboration and putting stakeholders at the heart, enhancing and driving efficiency with AI, big data and analytics. The masterclasses will also address the cultural and behavioural changes necessary to exploit the digital advantage.
Each masterclass aims to provide you with digital upskilling so that you can develop a broad appreciation of the digital advantage at a strategic level. The use of key influencers in the digital space as guest speakers draws expertise from across the domain, increasing the educational value. The in-class discussion offers you the opportunity to personalise your learning experience making the content relevant to your own roles and organisation. Beyond the classroom, each Masterclass provides a networking opportunity with guest speakers and colleagues from across Defence, who are exploring the similar areas of interest, to share experiences and solutions, further enhancing your understanding and enabling you to draw on digital technology to be a more effective and agile decision maker.
