About this course

This page contains information regarding the Exam for Cyber Foundation Pathway (CFP) Module 4. 

You should only book the exam once you are confident you have the skills to attempt the assessment. Please note that you are expected to have taken a minimum two-week consolidation period between completing the Module 4 course and sitting the exam. This is rigorously enforced.

You will also need to ensure that you have fully completed the exam pre-requisites before attending an exam session.

How will this course help my career?

The Module 4 exam has an associated JPA competency in Cyber Security. This is awarded when you successfully complete the M4 assessment and have met all pre-requisite conditions.

Before you attend

This course is the assessment phase which follows the CFP Module 4 course. The exam is made up of a theory element and a hands-on practical element, demonstrating a variety of technical skills. 

Unless you are very confident in your hands-on Cyber security capabilities, we recommend you attend the Module 4 course in person prior to attempting the exam.

You MUST have passed the CFPM3 assessment to attempt the CFPM4 assessment.

How will you be assessed?

The Module 4 exam is two hours long and includes a theory and a practical element. You will be required to conduct a series of cyber security tasks which are similar in nature to those conducted during the Module 4 residential course.
