About this course

A practical course using syndicate exercises to consolidate learning set in the context of MOD acquisition contracts for equipment and services.  The course starts by considering the quality aspects of preparing a requirement with reference to a quality management plan and MOD acquisition system guidance. It focuses on setting quality conditions within a request for contract action, contract amendments and quality concessions.  The course is designed from the perspective of MOD project teams but provides useful awareness and insight for MOD suppliers and contractors

How will this course help my career?

This course will give you knowledge and understanding of managing contract quality requirements and completing a Request for Contract Action (RCA) within the Contracting Purchasing & Finance (CP&F) process.  It is a mandatory requirement for MOD employees who are required to be registered quality assurance signatories for contract action.

Before you attend

  • An understanding of the Requirements Preparation section of JSP 940 Part 2. 
  • If you are new to quality it is recommended that you complete the Quality Assurance Awareness On-line Training (QAAOLT) course.
