On successful completion of the course you will be familiar with the technologies, methodologies, principles and terminology of modelling and simulation as used across Defence, including the challenges and issues as well as the benefits.
This course has two intakes per year, subject to demand: Mon 7 Sep 20 and Mon 11 Jan 21 (subject to demand).
Through use of facilities such as the Simulation and Synthetic Environment Laboratory (SSEL), with its wide range of specialist applications, you will gain a broad understanding of modelling and simulation in areas such as training, acquisition, decision-support, analysis and experimentation.
Keeping courses up-to-date and current requires constant innovation and change. The modules currently offered in connection with this MSc reflect the needs of our business however they may change or be withdrawn due to research developments, legislation changes or for a variety of other reasons, depending on the year of entry. Changes may also be designed to improve the student learning experience or to respond to feedback from students, external examiners, accreditation bodies and industrial advisory panels.
