About this course

THIS COURSE IS CURRENTLY INACTIVE.  

A course involving discussion and practical exercises that examines principles of resource management from financial planning, budgeting and in-year management and how they are applied within the MOD control framework. 

What you will learn

By the end of the course you will be able to:  
  • understand the principles of resource management including financial planning, budgeting, in year management and the control framework
  • understand the basics of resource accounting & budgeting 
  • understand the MOD financial policy framework including delegation, scrutiny, governance, value for money, risk management and investment appraisal
  • ?

    This course is currently on hold and is being redeveloped as an E-Learning package. There is no firm timescale at present for when the E-Learning will be available, however we are not anticipating a prolonged period before this happens.

    As a result, no further classroom courses will be scheduled. This website and DLE will be updated as soon as the E-Learning is launched or further information is available
