About this course

This course highlights the particular hazards and risks that are encountered with explosives and links them to tolerability and societal acceptance of risks.  You will gain the knowledge and understanding to recognise the applicability of various risk assessment methods and judge the appropriateness of tolerability and ALARP as applied to accidents involving explosives.

If you are seeking a Ministry of Defence (MOD) funded place, you will need to demonstrate in your application that there is a clear business need to undertake the course.
