About this course

The course explains the European approach to public procurement, EU treaty obligations and potential EU legal challenges.  It examines Public Contract Regulations 2015 and Defence and Security Public Contract Regulations 2011, their differences and impact on processes.  Designed for MOD employees, the course has wider applicability across the public and defence sectors.

Most courses are delivered at the Defence Academy Shrivenham and Abbey Wood Bristol .

  • be able to identify key EU Treaty obligations and public procurement laws
  • understand their application in a UK defence procurement context
