About this course

The course offers a solid foundation of control system theory specifically for guided weapon (GW) systems thus incorporating the key assumptions and challenges surrounding guided weapons.

It will provide students with an understanding of the fundamentals of classical/modern control theory as a basic background of guided weapons control and guidance.

  • laplace transform and state-space representation of dynamical systems
  • frequency and root-loci methodologies for compensation design
  • application of control theory to design compensators
