About this course
AS A PRECAUTIONARY MEASURE, THE DEFENCE ACADEMY HAS POSTPONED THIS COURSE IN LIGHT OF COVID-19. PLEASE CONTINUE TO CHECK THIS PAGE FOR RESCHEDULED COURSE DATES.
The third course in a blended package leading to a mandatory Certificate of Competence, it provides an understanding of logistics policy and performance management in the MOD, strategy and spares modelling methodology and supply chain risk.
What you will learn
By the end of the course you will have added contextual awareness to your understanding of the inventory management role in the MOD’s supply chain.
How will this course help my career?
This course is the final element of a mandatory MOD Certificate of Competence.
Before you attend
You must have completed the following four courses:
Inventory Management Basic Awareness Online Training
Material and Financial Accounting Online Training
Inventory Management Practitioner Basic
Material and Financial Accounting Basic Practitioner
You must also have served at D Band level for 1 year as a minimum.
