About this course

This course is delivered by Cranfield University on behalf of Business Skills College, Defence Academy.

This course has one intake per year: Mon 11 Jan 21.

Although programme management has its roots in project management, the two disciplines are markedly different and good project managers do not necessarily make good programme managers. This course will develop both programme and project management competences in an environment which brings together both Ministry of Defence and public sector supplier personnel in a unique 'customer and supplier' environment. Specifically, you will gain the capabilities needed for the implementation of strategic change through project management or programme leadership in a defence industry or public sector context.

We will provide you with an online learning portal, through which you can access a wide range of facilities. This portal will provide access to course material and other services including: access to the library,  document templates to help you set out work for submission and a communication/ information facility.

Keeping courses up-to-date and current requires constant innovation and change. The modules currently offered in connection with this MSc reflect the needs of our business however they may change or be withdrawn due to research developments, legislation changes or for a variety of other reasons, depending on the year of entry.
