About this course

A practical workshop using exercises to practice techniques and consolidate learning.  A number of different pricing models, formulae and incentives are examined and then used as the basis for calculating acceptable pricing arrangements in a range of scenarios and contract types.  The course is set against a context of MOD pricing activities but its principles have applicability for non-MOD employees and wider government commercial officers.

  • apply a hierarchy of alternative pricing methods
  • interpret the main price variation formulae used in MOD and apply techniques to reach an acceptable pricing arrangement
  • identify opportunities to use incentive schemes with a contract
