About this course

This is a two day residential seminar based course conducted at JSCSC, Shrivenham by the RAF Division.  It will begin on a Wednesday morning and finish mid-afternoon the following day.

The aim of the course is to help prepare the partners of senior executives, either just before or soon after they arrive on stations, for some aspects of station life in which they are likely to have the opportunity to become directly involved.

How will this course help my career?

An understanding of your partner's command role will enable you to support the needs of the newly appointed unit/station commander.

Security and restrictions

Applicable only to partners of RAF (or RN/Army) OF4/5 assuming an RAF command appointment. 

Before you attend

Some knowledge of your partner's command role is desirable in order for you to gain the maximum benefit from this seminar. 

Can I attend this course?

This course is suitable for the following type(s) of applicant.
The seminar is specifically designed for the partners of newly appointed station and unit commanders and these partners will have priority over other applicants.

Partners of flying squadron commanders and wing commanders in command appointments would also find the seminar very valuable and may attend if places are available.
