About this course

This is an evidence-based one-day workshop designed for Defence Senior Leaders tasked with creating a positive environment in which a mentally fit, resilient and productive workforce can thrive. Drawing on the PERMA model of Positive Psychology, concepts are explored through a combination of self-reflection and peer engagement. The Workshop aims to promote greater understanding of the importance of mental fitness and resilience for leaders themselves, and of role-modelling and embedding conducive conditions in their organisations.

This programme is run in sequence with the Leading Diverse and Inclusive Organisations (LDIO) Workshop. Senior leaders are encouraged to consider attending these complementary workshops over 2 days.
