The Research, Evaluation and Development (RED) team is part of the Defence Leadership Centre (DLC) at the Defence Academy. The team comprises occupational psychologists and specialist academic researchers who are responsible for ensuring our programmes and courses are always founded on the most reliable and current research in the fields of leadership and management development. Additionally, the team supports an executive coaching matching service, manages the Sponsored Research Programme and can also provide a leadership and organisational systems research capability.

The team concentrates on researching and investigating the trends and themes affecting leaders and organisations today, whilst horizon scanning to identify the critical issues of the future. The team can be available for commissioned research and have established relationships with key institutions and acknowledged professionals in the leadership sphere. The team also manages the sponsored research programme.
Evaluation and development
Our small but dedicated team of occupational psychologists provide significant value and credibility to the DLC through the application of their expert level knowledge, theory and experience of leadership and management development.
