About this course

Due to COVID-19 there are now different exam options available to students.  Take a look at the list below and see which category you belong to.  If your circumstances do not match any of the categories get in touch using the 'Ask about this course' link above and we will look at the most suitable option for you.
I completed an in class, 2 week course at Shrivenham prior to COVID-19:
You should apply to take the exam by clicking on 'Apply now' above.  You will only be required to attend the Friday afternoon ONLY to conduct the 2 hour exam on site at Shrivenham. Accommodation will only be provided in exceptional circumstances.
I completed an online, 2 week course between Mar 2020 and Aug 2020:
You will need to attend a 2 day 'top up' course to complete missing Training Objectives that were unable to be delivered online. The top up course will run Wednesday afternoon and Thursday, prior to the exam on the Friday morning.  This is the standard 2 hour exam held on site at Shrivenham.
I have not yet attended a Module 4 course:
You will need to apply to attend Module 4 ( before you can apply for the exam.

This 'course' contains the Exam for Modules 4 and 6 accompanied by a brief revision session. Students should only book on this course once they are confident they have the skills to attempt the module exam. Both exams will be available however due to Server limitations they will not be run concurrently. Exact exam timings will be sent in joining instructions. 

What you will learn

This course is primarily focused on the Exam;  there will be an Instructor on hand before the exam begins for any last minute revision questions. Please look at CFPM4 and CFPM6 for the corresponding taught courses. 

How will this course help my career?

Both the M4 and M6 Exams have an associated JPA competency in Cyber Security.

Before you attend

This course is the assessment phase which follows the CFP Modules 4 or 6 courses. Both exams are made up of a theory element and a hands-on practical conducting a variety of skills. 

Unless you are very confident in your hands-on Cyber security capabilities we recommend you attend the M4 or M6 course in person. 

You MUST have passed the CFPM3 assessment to attempt the M4 assessment. 
You MUST have passed the CFPM5 assessment to attempt the M6 assessment.

How will you be assessed?

Both the M4 and M6 exams are two hours long and include both a theory and practical elements. You will be required to conduct a series of cyber security tasks which are similar in nature to those conducted during the M4 or M6 residential courses.
