About this course

The course is run as a workshop using a mixture of discussion, theory and case studies to consolidate understanding.  

It examines technical aspects of contract management including planning, implementation, performance, interventions, change, mining, close-out and lessons and emphasises the use of tools and techniques to measure, enforce and remedy contract performance.  

The course follows closely the MOD contract management handbook, but its principles have wider applicability. 
 
This is the virtual alternative to the current CMMC classroom-based course.

By the end of this course you will:
  • be able to undertake effective contract management.

This course provides fundamental understanding for commercial officers involved in the analysis of contractor proposals and whether the associated procurement represents value for money.
