The course introduces the UK’s Parliamentary Funding and Treasury Control Frameworks.

It examines the Statement of Financial Position and Statement of Comprehensive Net Expenditure as well as financial concepts such as:

*VAT
*foreign exchange
*fuels
*control accounts
*debt management

For MOD employees, the course is useful preparation for the department’s Finance Skills Foundation Course.

By the end of this course you will have an understanding of Parliamentary Funding and the Treasury Control Framework along with supporting accounting principles.

This course will start your career pathway in finance. Completion of this course will enable delegates to be able to attempt the Finance Skills Certificate Foundation course which is a pre-requisite of holding a letter of delegation.
