This course is designed for newly appointed budget holders or staff aspiring to become budget holders in the near future.
It is particularly useful for non-financiers or those with minimal finance knowledge and experience.
The course focuses on what a good business case should look like and will give you confidence in how to write one. It will also give pointers as to what to look for when approving a business case and who you can go to for support.
You will learn to carry out your role as budget manager and how to scrutinise a business case.
