This course will give you an awareness level of understanding:
- of how finance operates within the department
- to provide assurance to DG Finance and to outside bodies such as, HM Treasury and the National Audit Office that finance staff have the essential competencies for their role
This course is mandated for finance staff and recommended as an awareness course for those with any finance delegation.
This course is also recommended for all senior non-finance staff.
