The course introduces all of the key elements of a comprehensive integrated logistics support (ILS) programme within a project procurement cycle.
It looks at the scope of ILS and potential benefits, its linkages with other project areas, how it applies to various stages of a project cycle, contracting for support, data and assurance and project milestones.
Set against a MOD project environment, the principles have wider applicability to non-MOD employees and suppliers and it complements the suite of MOD’s ILS courses.
By the end of this course you will understand the main functions and principles of ILS within a project.
This course provides a comprehensive introduction to ILS as a foundation for future practitioners or as broader awareness for members of project teams responsible for delivering equipment or services.
