Inventory Management Basic Awareness Online Training

The first course in a blended package leading to a mandatory certificate of competence.

It explains the inventory management role within MOD, key stakeholders and interfaces. It introduces the acquisition cycle and all elements of the inventory management process from initial provisioning to disposal:

• contractor logistics support

and commercial awareness in:

• inventory management
• warehousing
• storage
• distribution

By the end of the course you will have a basic understanding of the inventory management role in the MOD’s supply chain.

It is a mandatory course for SCM staff in DE&S who wish to obtain the SCM Practitioner Certificate.
