This course provides a basic introduction to the information systems used in the MOD to support management of the supply chain for land equipment.
It outlines land supply chain management processes and explores the MOD’s SS3 OLIVER information system in through life management of MOD’s land based equipment.
This course is part of a sequence of mandated courses for MOD employees working as practitioners in the supply chain environment.
You will learn to:
- understand the role of a MOD supply chain manager in the land based equipment environment
- understand basic functions of the MOD’s SS3 OLIVER system
This course is part of the mandated development pathway towards the MOD’s SCM practitioner certificate.
