About this course

The DSAT(M) course is aimed at you if your primary role relates to the management of any elements of the DSAT including the management of Defence trainers. This may include managers working within a Training Requirements Authority (TRA), Training Delivery Authority (TDA), or Training Provider (TP).

The course, delivered via facilitation, covers the key principles of training management and governance, in addition to the management of each of the four elements of DSAT.

What you will learn

You will learn to: 
  • outline the management of the DSAT analysis element
  • outline the management of the DSAT design element
  • explain the management of the DSAT delivery element
  • explain the management of the DSAT assurance element
  • explain the management and governance of a training system

If you are posted into a managerial position in defence training, be it with the forces, civil service or you are a contractor, you will require an understanding of DSAT.

An awareness of DSAT will allow you as a manager to deliver effective, efficient, safe and well designed training.
