The challenge is held annually at the Defence Cyber Academy (DCA) part of the Defence College for Military Capability Integration (DCMCI). It attracts participants from all three branches of the UK's armed forces, along with the Civil Service.
Its aim is to test the ability of each team in mission planning and execution in both offensive and defensive scenarios. Designed and delivered by the Advanced Course in Engineering team, part of the US Airforce Research Labs (AFRL), this event serves to develop cyber skills within the MOD and further strengthen the relationship between UK and US cyber defence.
Army CPT demonstrated exceptional skill and teamwork throughout the competition. The team was quickly able to identify and neutralize several sophisticated attacks, including those designed to exploit vulnerabilities in their network's infrastructure and steal sensitive information.

The ISCNDC is just one of the many initiatives being undertaken by the DCA to improve cyber security capabilities. With the increasing threat posed by cyber-attacks, it is essential that our military personnel are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to protect our national security interests in the digital domain.
