Bonfire night & firework display

The Defence Academy is hosting a Bonfire night and firework display on Thursday 3rd November 2016 on the Erda Range, Shrivenham.

This event is open to all staff and students who work on the MOD site at Shrivenham, their dependants and as many personal guests as they wish to bring.

(Please note however, the event is not open to the general public).

Tickets will be available in advance from Defence Academy HQ Admin Office, Room 41, Greenhill House and the JSCSC Reception.

Please note that the event will go ahead whatever the weather.


£3 per adult

£1 per child (babies free)

Gates open at 18:00 and the Bonfire will be lit at 18:45.  The fireworks display will commence at approximately 19:10.

On Sale will be:

  • refreshments - hamburgers, hot dogs, hot and cold drinks etc.
  • hot Chocolate (courtesy of MWC)
  • Gluhwein (courtesy of DAFFY'S)
  • 'Glow Sticks' (courtesy of the Scouts)

Parking will be available in Car Parks H, I and J. Please allow at least 10 minutes' walk from the car parks to the site.

Please DO NOT bring your own fireworks, but do bring a torch!
