Civilian HR are designing a new Line Management Development Pathway

In response to the 2017 People Survey Civilian HR have started to review the overall learning offer related to line management. 

Working collaboratively with the Defence Academy, the Skills & Capability team at Civilian HR are designing a new Line Management Development Pathway. Elements that you have told them are no longer valid, current or relevant are being removed and new elements are being included where the requirement has been clearly evidenced.  They are, of course, retaining elements that have proven to be of high value.

The Managing Civilian Staff (MCS) course and the New to Managing People (NMP) course are no longer delivered and will ultimately be replaced by this new learning offer, pending the successful design, pilot and delivery of the new product in spring 2019.

The new courses will be developed through engagement with stakeholders right across defence to ensure that we have the widest perspective available, and we are meeting your needs and those of the department.
