Ministry of Defence PhD student Sandra Eaton has won the prestigious Geoffrey Trimble Award for the best MSc thesis at the annual Association for Project Management (APM) awards dinner.
The award night is a major event in the project management calendar with Defence Academy students making up three of the four finalists for the Geoffrey Trimble Award.
Sandra Eaton said: "I am delighted to win this award and doubly delighted that the award sponsors, BAE Systems, found value in exploratory research into the motivations of change leaders. The Defence Academy’s MSc in Programme and Project Management, delivered by Cranfield University, was a fantastic learning experience and my thanks go out to the entire faculty."
Dr. Neil Turner, Course Director of the MSc in PPM, said: “It is fantastic news that Sandra has won such a prestigious award. It is testament to the hard work, dedication and calibre of the Defence Academy students. It is wonderful that the value of MSc theses is being recognised by the APM and that this is an opportunity each year to celebrate excellence.”
