Government contract to deliver training and education to Civil Service

09 September 2015 / Categories: DA News and Events

The Government is inviting contractors to bid for the future delivery of training and education to the Civil Service; beginning with that for the Senior Civil Service (SCS).

The Government employs around 3,700 people in the SCS in a range of specialist skills requiring dedicated development courses.

The Defence Academy is likely to submit a bid on behalf of the Ministry of Defence (MOD) as part of this competition. Other potential bidders have therefore been instructed to take account of the offering which MOD currently provides in the construction of their own bids.

To avoid confusion, potential bidders wishing to inquire about Defence Academy product and services that are already delivered to the SCS should direct their request appropriately.

All requests will be dealt with in a governed manner by the appropriate authority.

The competition for the contract is being run by Crown Commercial Services.
