Army Division has developed a new module; Executive Leadership and Management (ELM) as part of the Intermediate Command and Staff (Land) course. There will two iterations a year held in September and January.
The module is aimed at industry middle management professionals, Partners Across Government (PAG) MOD civil servants. International military are welcome, expressions of interest to attend the ELM should be made through the in country UK Defence Attaché.
The module offers students a unique opportunity to study alongside Army peers to share new approaches to common challenges and develop their understanding of leadership in forming effective teams.

“The module provides experienced managers with the knowledge and understanding of what is required to make the transition to becoming a leader; to be more strategic in thinking, address the space beyond the managers arena, empowerment of staff, delegation, motivation and the importance of building trust and resilience within the workforce.”
The module also offers on successful completion of the ELM, delegates who are members of the Chartered Management Institute will qualify for accreditation of 7 credits at level 7 membership, claimable through the professional body.
