Today, Saturday 4 July marks the Annual General Inspection for Welbeck, the Defence Sixth Form College that prepares ambitious young people for an engineering or technical career in the Armed Forces or the Civil Service.
Chair of the Board of Governors of Welbeck and Chief Executive of the Defence Academy Major General Andrew Roe recorded an address to mark this milestone for more than 150 Year 13 students. They will now continue their studies in STEM degrees at universities as part of the Defence Technical Officer and Engineer Entry Scheme. After completing their degrees, these students will go on to start their careers as officers in the Armed Forces or as civil servants.
