The Shrivenham campus has its own fitness centres, outdoor sports pitches, tennis, badminton and squash courts, a golf course, stables, and an outdoor heated swimming pool.
The Defence Academy has a heated outdoor swimming pool, open from May until September. The fully supervised pool is available for use by staff, students and their families and also offers swimming lessons for adults and children.
The Defence Academy Golf Club, established in 1956, is an attractive 18 hole course within the confines of the campus. The 18 different holes are achieved by a devious combination of 14 greens and 18 tees, so making each hole unique.
The Saddle Club offers equestrian opportunities for all military, students, civilian staff, and their families working in the Defence Academy. A wide range of livery services are available for members with their own horses/ponies.
