Mission

To run successful military operations and government departments, our people need to have the understanding and the tools that contribute to effective leadership practices and thinking skills.

Our flexible courses offer face-to-face, digital and blended learning opportunities. The DLC offers cutting edge leadership training, education and research in:

  • stress and resilience
  • equality, diversity and inclusion
  • leadership, learning and development
  • international defence engagement

Our courses are delivered in partnership with professional academic partners and institutions. We also work with allied organisations to actively participate in leadership research groups, including the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO), and to deliver training and education throughout the world.
