About this course
This course will give you an awareness and understanding of the importance of avoiding counterfeit materiel. Based around MOD Defence Standard 05-135.
What you will learn
By the end of the course you will:
- have gained an understanding of counterfeit and its associated issues
- understand the consequences of counterfeit goods
- know how the avoidance of counterfeit materiel is managed in the MOD and the defence supply chain and where to go for further advice and guidance
How this course will help your career
When counterfeit avoidance measures are implemented they reduce the probability of poor quality equipment or services being purchased and supported for His Majesty's armed forces.
Once completed, this course can contribute towards an MOD quality license.
