About this course
This unique course is for NATO chaplains in senior leadership positions, with a focus on the seven areas of the UK Armed Forces Chaplaincy Competency Framework:
relate to military organisation and ethos
• deliver spiritual leadership
• deliver pastoral care
• deliver moral leadership and guidance
• conduct personal military administration
• foster vocation
• deliver chaplaincy on operations
This is a unique course focused on developing interoperability among NATO chaplains and will include a field trip to London.
What you will learn
Hosted in an interactive, collegiate manner, this course will focus on developing your knowledge and skills alongside NATO peers. Spiritual resilience, advanced leadership, strategic insight will all be considered. A tabletop exercise will help to identify gaps in policy/doctrine, ensuring that the discussions and seminars focus on delivering tangible change, and increased understanding.

This course is a unique opportunity for you to interact with and learn alongside OF-5 NATO chaplains in a structured academic environment. You will return to your unit with a deeper understanding of strategy and leadership, and a practical understanding of interoperability.
