About this course

The Joint Information Activities Course (JIAC) is a two-week residential and is for personnel in information activities roles. JIAC is primarily aimed at OR6–OF3, but if you’re OR1–5, you may attend depending on your role. 

What you will learn

During the course, you’ll learn about the nature of information activities, relevant techniques and their employment, enabling you to operate as an information operations practitioner within a unit or HQ.

How this course will help your career

JIAC will provide you with a solid foundation of skills in information warfare and will enable further development for individuals orientating their career towards information warfare fields. Depending on rank and career aspirations, the completion of JIAC may also enable you to apply for the Joint Information Operations Planning Course (JIOPC).
