About this course

Please note that the LCP managers and deputy course is currently suspended until Jan 2026.

Following the Cabinet Office Directive on ePC the central LCP team is having to prioritise the production of a new LCP policy framework which will dictate the future training delivered by the programme team. We fully recognise that in some TLBs there is an immediate requirement to train new LCP managers, particularly in military accounts where the role is conducted on a rotational basis. The below approach is therefore an interim solution positioned to support these accounts in ensuring LCP manager coverage during this period:

1.    Please search the ePC Zone on the MODNET site and follow the instructions on the training page.
2.    Provide evidence of your pass mark and email the LCP team with your preferred date to book onto the 1 hour update session that will provide key information relating to the changes from the Cabinet Office Directive.
3.    Managers become trained and will receive a certificate (provided the above steps have been undertaken) allowing them to become an authorised signatory with the bank.  Select the date from the calendar to see specific instructions.

This mandatory course is aimed at all MOD electronic purchasing card (ePC) managers and explains the principles and policy surrounding low complexity procurement and how to manage ePC accounts within the MOD. It is also highly recommended for anyone that has an approver/checking role with any ePC purchase.

Please note this course is not suitable for you if you are an ePC cardholder. Please do not apply.
